Brushless Beetle

I’ve installed the 10.5t Hobbyking brushless into the Blitzer Beetle , the included ESC wires were to short , so a little extension had to be soldered on, at first i planed to do a direct solder to the motor , but since the cables were to short i used 4mm bullet plugs. the installation went without a hitch. Both Hobbyking components seem very well made , glad i got the extra sensor wire though as the one included with the motor is a bit puny.

the Blitzer Beetle , now brushless 😀

also did the shock tower reinforcements with m3 threaded rod  and shock ends. its really simple , just cut the proper size and screw on , also keep a m3 nut on it so you can rethread the cut end with it . if i find some aluminium pipe small enough ill put that over the m3 rod .

reinforced shock mount.

i’ve only test driven it inside but first impressions are very good, might need to add some weight in the front .
