Seizing the day

Today was another fine day , first we took Mojca’s TT01e for a test drive , i drove my Fighter Buggy with Carson wheels. No pictures of that but we made two small kids very happy, and their parents maybe less.

After Mojca managed to roll her car we went to the second bashing place , and i swapped the Fighter Buggy to the original wheels with new rear tires. The terrain here was a bit better , but a bit too coarse for the fighter buggy. The Dual Hunter managed just fine and i think the Dark Impact will manage too. Speaking of the dark impact , its now completely clean and rebuilt waiting for the new shocks to arrive from Japan.

I was bidding on some stuff today on eBay and im still amazed how people pay more than you can get it from Hong Kong new. I guess its the eBay fever that gets you 🙂

I ordered some 20t pinions for the Dual Hunter so i can get some more speed out of the stock motors.

Tomorrow, if the post arrives , then its TA02 and TA03 Rebuild time.

New shoes

i’ve upgraded the Fighter Buggy with the ball bearings and fitted the Carson all terrain tires, waiting for the new Flysky receivers to arrive before i test it out. Hopefully  these will last longer than the standard back tires . the black rims do look nice with fully decaled buggy courtesy of Mojca, my new decal master.

hello old friend … born again

out of all my models the Fighter buggy was the vehicle i remember driving the most , mostly with my friends in Murska Sobota , i got a bit later then the other models , i think somewhere between 1999 and 2000.  it was run a lot as a general basher . many happy memories .

To get Mojca into the hobby (her own TT-01e Cusco Dunlop Subaru Impreza should arrive soon) and to refresh my own skills we took the fighter buggy apart, cleaned it properly and put it back together , she also put the stickers on the body as im not suitable for that , i was and still am too sloppy . we took it for a test run before the strip down , still all solid .

Its running stock with a LRP SPEEDY SS ESC and a Futaba Receiver .  i ordered a ball bearings set , new back wheels and some replacement screws for it .

isn’t the she a beauty ?

oh , i forgot to take the before pictures, lots of dust and dirt

parts cleaned
